Since I first taught myself the basics of HTML coding back in 2009, I’ve been trying to come up with a website design I can live with. It’s been a little like remodeling my house, with a lot of planning and experimenting before I’m happy. Over the past several days, I spent more time than I care to add up giving my site a (dare I say?) final remodel. I think I’m finally there – almost.
All the pages are complete. Each time I do this, I realize I have a whole lot of pages! I’ve also added a bit of content, most of which you’ll find on the Things Of Interest page. Among the items added, you’ll find three short stories. I’ve added a new section on that page called, appropriately, Short Stories. Every now and then I’ll add a free story there.
I’m still not happy with my banner. I want something new, something simple that captures the feel of my writing. I’d be happy to pay someone to make it for me. The problem is, I have no idea what it is I want. If you have suggestions, please share them. Please! I’m feeling a little desperate here.
You can see it on the top of all my pages. Here’s the main link: www.QuietFuryBooks.com
Until I find that magical banner of my dreams, I’ll live with the one I have. I want to be sure I love the next – and final – creation before I make another major change. Otherwise, I’ll be tempted to use cyber explosives on my site.
Don’t forget to enter my giveaway while you’re taking a virtual tour of my property. This month you can win a signed copy of any one of my ten titles! The link to my monthly contests is: www.QuietFuryBooks.com/contests.html
